How the count works
Each alert GameSound shows on the home page - a score by a team you follow, an opponent score in a game you follow, a kickoff, a final, or a Close games alert - adds one to the tally the moment it fires. The Test horn never counts. Alerts that reached your locked phone while no tab was open are not counted, since only an open page can count. The tally resets by itself when a new season starts, or when you tap Start over.
